SF's Chandler Rodriguez knocked in Tyler Kinney in the bottom of the seventh to cut the score to 4-2, but the flood gates opened in the top of the eighth when PSC scored five runs on four hits and one Santa Fe error.

The Saints scored three in the eighth and one in the ninth, but were unable to climb all the way back.
