Ocala, FL – It just wasn't the Santa Fe Saints night on Tuesday in Ocala, as the Central Florida Patriots shot over 64% from the field in the Mid-Florida Conference Tournament final, defeating SF 105-82.
CF started the game sizzling from the field, making 70.6% (24-of-34) of their shots to jump out to a 55-40 lead at halftime.
The Saints had a tough time shutting down the interior game of the Patriots and foul trouble with post players down the stretch did Santa Fe in. Sean Dinkins and Darrell Jones both fouled out, recording all five of their fouls in the second half.
D-Juan Taylor-Hodge, Ivan Smith, and Darrell Jones had 13 points each, and Sean Flood led the way with 14
Central Florida scored 50 points in the second half to secure the win and their spot at the FCSAA Tournament.
Santa Fe finishes the season with a 21-11 record.
