Falcons Shoot Down Saints, 83-67

The Falcons of Daytona State College made 18 of 31 field goals in the second half to keep the Saints at bay on the way to 83-67 win in Daytona Saturday evening.

"Daytona is a very talented team," said SF Head Coach Chris Mowry. "We never quit, but they had too much fire power to overcome today."

The Saints trailed by seven (38-31) at the half but couldn't mount an offensive attack to get back into the game.

SF (13-10, 2-4 MFC) were led by guards Ivan Smith and Brady Fernandes who scored 23 and 13 points respectively.

The Saints will travel to Lake City on Monday to take on Florida Gateway College in a game scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
