November 22, 2015

Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #10 ranked Santa Fe Saints hit the road on Tuesday evening without the services of second leading scorer Corey Staples, but still managed a convincing victory, defeating Eastern Florida State College 76-56. The win was the 200th of Coach Chanda Stebbins career.

Santa Fe led by two points at the end of the first quarter and expanded that lead over the next 10 minutes, taking a 43-34 lead into halftime.

The Saints (4-3) defense improved every quarter as the game wore on, holding the Titans to 13 points in the third quarter and just seven in the fourth.

SF will take a little over a week off before returning to the court on November 30 at South Georgia Technical College at 7:00 PM.
