Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints were well represented by the Mid-Florida Conference this year after winning the title, with Arianna Emanuel-Wright earning Player of the Year honors and Coach Chanda Stebbins was named Coach of the Year.

Stebbins won her 200th game (now at 214) this year and also became the all-time winningest coach in school history, eclipsing Hall of Famer Paula Edney.  She is the only coach in school history with 200 or more wins.

Emanuel-Wright led Santa Fe with 20.2 points per game and also averaged 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.  She had a season high 33 points against the College of Central Florida in the second to last regular season game of the season and scored 32 against Hillsborough on February 11.

Joining Emanuel-Wright on the first team is Tabitha Odabe.  Odabe exploded during her sophomore year after a quiet freshman season, averaging 9.8 points and 12 rebounds per game.  She broke the single game record for blocks in a game when she recorded 12 against the College of Central Florida on February 22.

Mid-Florida Conference Second Team: Corey Staples (12.9 ppg, 5 rpg) and Rayven Wade (8.8 ppg, 9.9 rpg).

The Saints will play in the FCSAA Tournament on March 8 against Broward College at 1:00 PM in first round action.  Fans can watch live on the FCSAA YouTube Channel.
