Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe guard Julie Fournier put on a show from behind the three point arc Saturday in Ocala, nailing seven triples in the Saints 71-57 win over Hillsborough CC. Fournier finished with a season high 29 points.
The Santa Fe defense was the story in the first half as the Saints held the Hawks to just seven points in the first quarter and 19 overall through 20 minutes of play. SF took a 30-19 lead in to the locker room and held HCC to 19 point in each of the next two quarters, finishing off a solid 14 point win.
Fournier paced the SF offense and Janasia Law (13 points), Stephanie Jackson (11 points), and Brianna Richardson (nine points) gave the Saints secondary scoring threats to put the game away.
Santa Fe (4-1) will have a week off after playing back to back days, returning to the floor at home against Broward College on Saturday, November 18 at 4:00 p.m.
