Saints Win Third Straight, 85-60 Over CF

Saints player fights through defense.

Freshmen Aleisha Curry and Teagan Rothrock led five players in double figures to power the Saints to their third consecutive win, 85-60 over the College of Central Florida in Ocala Wednesday night.

"Very proud of how Teagan and Aleisha played," said SF head coach Chanda Stebbins. "Great job by our players of being prepared and ready to perform today."

Curry had 16 points while Rothrock tallied 14 Rosalee Nicholson and Danasia Bogle had 12 apiece and Chardell Jones 10.

"I thought our players handled their second half pressure better than we did at the last game," said Stebbins

SF improves to 12-10 overall and are 3-1 in Mid-Florida Conference play. First place in the MFC will be on the line Saturday when Daytona State brings a 3-0 MFC record to Gainesville for the 2 pm game.
