Casper, WY – The Santa Fe Saints knocked off the #1 team in the nation on Thursday evening, setting up a date with #4 Miami Dade College, with a spot in the National Championship match on the line. The meeting will be the third this season between the two schools. The Sharks won both previous meetings, including the FCSAA State Championship match.
The semifinal match will take place tonight, November 18, at 8:30 PM EST. The other semifinal between Polk State College and Iowa Western CC will be played simultaneously. Both matches can be seen on www.njcaatv.com. The winners of the two matches will play for the NJCAA National Championship on Saturday, November 19 at 8:30 PM EST. The two losing teams will meet at 6:30 PM EST for third place.
The Saints are the lowest seeded team in the final four, coming in as #8. Miami Dade is the #4 seed, #2 Iowa Western, and #6 Polk State.
