The Saints took care of business on their first away game of the young season with a straight set win over the Florida Gateway College Wolves (25-12, 25-18, 25-16) on Wednesday, August 28.

The match showcased the defensive work of the Saints' front line.

"We had nine blocks tonight and that is a very good sign for us," said Saints head coach Nick Cheronis.

Leading the offensive was middle blocker Emily Register with 10 kills and Sarah Hamlin contributing seven of her own.

Cheronis exclaimed, "It was an excellent performance all the way around."

The Saints (2-2) continue their road schedule with their next match against Odessa College in Ocala, FL at the Patriots Volleyball Tournament hosted by College of Central Florida Friday, August 30.
