This Week's Alumni Spotlight is Alan "OT" Findley who played basketball in 1992-93
Gainesville, FL
This week's Alumni Spotlight is Alan "OT" Findley, who played Men's Basketball at Santa Fe during the 1992-1993 season under Head Coach Wes Aldrich, then in his third year with the program.
Findley was a member of the Saints during a competitive season, with the team finishing 15-16. Though he spent just one season at Santa Fe, his time as a student-athlete left a lasting impact. He is still close with several of his former teammates, a testament to the strong brotherhood built during that season.
After his time at Santa Fe, Findley jumped straight into the construction industry, where he applied the same dedication and discipline he learned on the court. Today, he is the proud owner at Advanced Building Systems, Inc. and Findley Construction Company, PLLC.
Reflecting on his time as a Saint, Findley shared a core lesson that continues to guide his life: "There are many levels to athletics, and you need to refuse to be outworked in athletics as well as in life."
Now a husband, father of three, and new grandfather, OT continues to stay connected to Santa Fe by supporting and cheering on the Saints teams as they compete at a high level. His journey has been a reflection of how foundation built through college athletics can carry into lifelong success; on the court, in business, and at home
