UF Health Ortho Teammate Selection: Kailyn Howard
This week's Tuesday Teammate of the Week is Kailyn Howard!

Kailyn Howard has been selected as this week's Santa Fe Saints UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Tuesday Teammate of the Week!
Howard is a second year Volleyball student-athlete who has made a major impact both on and off the court. In the Saints first two games this past weekend, Howard totaled 13 kills and had 17 combined digs, helping the Saints get off to a 2-0 start. Off the court, Howard has continued to show her growth and leadership as a representative of Santa Fe College and the Volleyball team.
Howard was selected as one of two student members of the FCSAA Executive Committee and was voted President of the Student Athlete Advisory Council (S.A.A.C.) for 2025-26. Additionally, Howard and her team helped host a volleyball clinic this past weekend for students from kindergarden to 8th grade. Kailyn Howard has consistenty shown leadership in everything she does.
"I am proud to have a leader like Kailyn receive this award from UF Ortho. Not only does she epitomize great leadership; she also serves others very well. I have enjoyed watching her accept leadership opportunities both in the classroom and on the court," stated Athletic Director Chanda Stebbins.
UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. This is the inagural week of the fall 2025 semester. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director will be able to nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award. Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value. SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and familes for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
