UF Ortho Teammate Selection: Dylan Lovelace
This Week's Tuesday Teammate of the Week is Dylan Lovelace!
Gainesville, FL
Dylan Lovelace is this week's Santa Fe Saints UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Tuesday Teammate of the Week!
Lovelace enters his second year with Santa Fe Baseball after a solid 2024-25 season. The 6'3 RHP is from Union County, Florida, played at both Fort White High School and Santa Fe High School.
Lovelace is a familiar face around the building, frequently stopping by after class and has supported Saints teams who are in season multiple times. He is a vocal leader in practice, providing wisdom to younger players as they take on their first fall baseball season at the collegiate level. He lends a helping hand whenever he is around and represents Santa Fe well.
Lovelace is majoring in Business Administration and plans to continue that track when he matriculates to a four-year institution. In the 2025 season, he posted a 6.11 ERA and 1.64 WHIP while adding 22 strikeouts. He was named to the 2024 Fall All-Saints Academic Team and was a 202-25 FCSAA Academic All-State Honoree.
UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award. Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value. SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and families for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
