This week's Alumni Spotlight features Santa Fe Softball Alumni playing at the next level!
This week's Alumni Spotlight are recent softball alumni who are continuing their careers at the next level. As the NCAA and NAIA softball seasons are just about to kick off or are in their first week, here are twelve former Saints who are playing at the next level!
Alexis Daphney at Clark Atlanta University
- Alexis Daphney played in 99 total games for Santa Fe totaling 44 hits and 11 home runs in two seasons. She also kept a 2.33 ERA in the circle over 54 innings pitched with 27 strikeouts.
McKenzie Jewell at Francis Marion University
- McKenzie Jewell played in 60 total games for the Saints and totaled 60 hits, 49 RBI's and 17 home runs in just one season. The righty slashed .319/.370/.638 in her lone season with SF.
Karris Rhine at Auburn University at Montgomery
- Karris Rhone played in all 120 games during her two years at Santa Fe, collecting 113 hits and 18 home runs. The outfielder had an outstanding sophomore season hitting .387 in 191 at bats.
Olivia Lameau at Lock Haven University
- Olivia Lameau played in all 60 games during her sole season at Santa Fe. She hit .299 with 53 hits and 15 walks. She totaled 11 extra base hits and 27 RBI's as an everyday first baseman.
Madison Conway at Stetson University
- Madison Conway played in 119 games over her two seasons with the Saints. She collected 130 hits and sits atop the leaderboard with 29 career home runs while carrying a .332 average at SF.
Kelsey Harper at New College of Florida
- Kelsey Harper hit .319 while being a sure-handed third baseman for Santa Fe. Her 23 hits and 13 walks combined well with a .917 fielding percentage over 49 games.
Cloey O'Doniel at Thomas University
- Cloey O'Doniel played in 61 games over two seasons as a Saint. She carried a consistent .200 average with 18 hits and 16 RBI's and had a great eye at the plate with 12 walks.
Ryleigh Bennett at Campbell University
- Ryleigh Bennett played 45 games in one season at Santa Fe. The two-way player tallied 14 hits and 14 walks at the plate while also carrying a 2.26 ERA in the circle. She struck out 66 batters over 105.1 innings pitched.
Brooke Markiewicz at North Carolina Wesleyan University
- Brooke Markiewicz played 59 games for the Saints while hitting .266 with 11 extra base hits and 36 RBIs. She fielded at a stellar .953 rate and played numerous defensive positions throughout the season.
Ariel Obregon at Florida National University
- Ariel Obregon played 22 games for Santa Fe while hitting .158 with three hits and fielded at a .880 clip over her two years as a Saint.
Mallory Forester at the University of North Georgia
- Mallory Forester threw 178 innings for the Saints in her lone season with the team. She kept a 17-8 record that paired with a 1.81 ERA. She struck 159 batters out and only allowed 46 earned runs the entire season.
Annissa Quinonez at Florida National University
- Annissa Quinonez appeared in 13 games for Santa Fe while slashing .417/.533/.500 at the plate with two walks. She fielded .923 as a utility player while converting 12 chances defensively.
