Jake Schuh is this week's Tuesday Teammate of the Week!
Schuh enters his first season with Santa Fe Basketball in 2025-26. The 6'4 Guard is from Gainesville, Florida and played at The Rock School.
Schuh has appeared in seven games for the Saints and averages 5.0 points per game off of 43.8% shooting. He is also shooting 30.8% from 3-pt and averages a rebound a game. Schuh played his best game vs North Florida Prep where he scored 16 points on 6-10 shooting including 4 3-pointers in the team's 119-68 win.
Schuh has been somebody who has stepped up within the Men's Basketball program and has always been willing to lend a helping hand to his teammates or his peers. Recently, Schuh served as the public address announcer for Women's Basketball. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and enjoys video games and playing golf in his free time. Schuh played AAU for Gamespeed Elite and won a state championship in 2024.
UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award. Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value.
