Melvin Browning is this week's Tuesday Teammate of the Week!

Browning is a sophomore at Santa Fe College studying Digital Media. He's passionate about video production, photography, and content creation for various social media platforms, and his YouTube channel just hit 2,000 subscribers.

He works closely with Tyler Hagin, Santa Fe's fitness center manager, and Bryan Denton, the athletic specialist. As a work study for the department, he greets guests, performs facility workups, conducts zone deep cleanings, and helps the student-athletes in and around the fitness center. He enjoys going above and beyond in his role by offering advice and suggestions to those in need and collaborating with others.

When he's not at the fitness center check-in desk, he enjoys working out, strategizing, watching TV, and hanging out with his friends.

UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award.  Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value.  SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and families for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
