Baseball Hosts Daytona State on March 14 at 1:00 PM
Gainesville, FL – Both the SF baseball and fastpitch teams will be at home on Saturday, March 14 for important Mid-Florida Conference games, with both starting at 1:00 PM. The baseball team will battle Daytona State College, and fastpitch takes on St. John’s River State College. The baseball team will battle Daytona State College, and fastpitch takes on St. John's River State College. The baseball is expected to send Tom Watson to the mound (3-1, 1.05 ERA, 44 K's). Pending their outcome today against Lake Sumter, the Saints are currently 17-5 overall and 4-1 in the MFC, sitting atop the standings.
Fastpitch (13-10, 1-1 MFC) split their first MFC double header with Daytona, and had their most recent DH postponed due to weather. St. John's is 2-0 in MFC play having swept Lake Sumter.
