Fosnow signs to Florida Gulf Coast University
Santa Fe Saint Connor Fosnow has signed with the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles
Gainesville, FL.
Sophomore Connor Fosnow is headed to Fort Myers, Florida to continue his collegiate baseball career at Florida Gulf Coast University.
From Longwood, Florida, Fosnow graduated from Lake Brantley High School in 2022 and played his first year of collegiate baseball at Indian River State College. With Indian River, Fosnow played in 32 games and had a batting average of .333, an on base percentage of .434 and earned 26 RBIs. He transferred to Santa Fe in 2023 for his sophomore season.
The 6'3" outfielder appeared in 23 games for the Saints last season taking 55 at bats and registering a batting average of .218. He hit for three extra base hits, 15 total bases, and earned a stolen base against State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota on April 14th, 2024.
Florida Gulf Coast is a NCAA Division I school that competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Since the program's inception 22 years ago, the Eagles have been led by five-time ASUN Coach of the Year Dave Tollet. Florida Gulf Coast have won six ASUN regular season championships, produced 11 All-Americans, and have an overall program record of 743-452-3. In 2024, the Eagles finished with a 20-10 (.667) conference record and lost to the eventual champions in the semifinal of the ASUN tournament.
