Chappell Commits to North Carolina Wesleyan
Pitcher Chase Chappell has committed to North Carolina Wesleyan University to continue his playing career

Pitcher Chase Chappell will be attending North Carolina Wesleyan University next season where he will continue his academic and playing careers. The 6'2 Sophomore is from Valrico, Florida and attended Bloomingdale High School.
Chappell played during the 2023 and 2025 seasons after redshirting in 2024. In his two seasons with the Saints, Chappell made 28 appearances throwing 67.0 innings, 38.1 of them coming in 2025. Chappell's best appearance came vs Seminole State where he went 6.0 innings while allowing 7 hits, 4 runs (1 earned) and striking out two.
Chappell inks with a North Carolina Wesleyan team who went 11-28 this past season competing in a strong USA South Athletic Conference. The Battling Bishops will certainly use Chappell's pitch mix to their advantage next season and will look to trend upward with the right hander on their roster.
