Saints race to game one victory
Santa Fe knocks off Hillsborough 10-0 in five innings

Santa Fe (10-6) easily dispatched Hillsborough Community College (10-7) on Thursday, 10-0. After both teams were scoreless in the first inning, the Saints got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Shawn Andrade tripled to right field and Tucker Hansen singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Santa Fe added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Andrade tripled to left field, and Hansen singled to center field (both their second of the game), each scoring one run.
Matthew Pagan earned the win for Santa Fe Saints. The starter allowed two hits on the first two batters of the game and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking none.
Santa Fe tallied 12 hits in the game. Maddox Lee, Hansen, Andrade, Cole Carnell, and Samuel Castillo each collected two hits. Akhil Nimmala, Hansen, and Andrade each drove in two runs.
Santa Fe notches their first conference win of the season in convincing fashion, as they will take the trip don to Tampa on Saturday, February 21st for a doubleheader that will begin at noon.
