TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Nasir Mann of Santa Fe College men's basketball has earned Player of the Week honors from the FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII.

Mann, the sophomore guard from Gainesville, Fla., averaged 20.5 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 53.6 percent from the floor combined in two wins for SF over Hillsborough on Dec. 14 and Florida Gateway on Dec. 15.

Mann's play was electric, and included several explosive dunks as he relentlessly attacked the basket. He also went 7-of-10 from beyond the three-point arc in the two games as a scoring threat from the perimeter.

His double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds against Hillsborough was instrumental in the dominant victory, and he then matched a career-high with a game-high 24 points to help the Saints sweep the season series with the Florida Gateway Timberwolves. 

On the season headed into Central Conference play, Mann is contributing 14.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for the Saints' cause.
