Five Freshmen Sign with the Saints
John Ritzdorf has Officially Signed Five Incoming Freshmen to Join His 2025-2026 Squad

Head Coach John Ritzdorf will be entering his second year at the helm of Santa Fe Men's Basketball and will now add five incoming freshmen to his 2025-2026 roster. Get a glimpse of this year's freshman class:
Jahari Simmons is a 6'1" Point Guard from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida. This past season, Simmons averaged 16 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. He led his team to a stellar 28-3 record as well as a final 4 appearance in Class 3A. Simmons earned a FACA Class 3A All-State Selection, Source Hoops Class 3A First-Team All-State Selection and MVP, News 4 Jax Player of the Year, All Gateway Conference Selection, Florida Times Union 1st Team Selection and Player of the Year, District Player of the Year, and MVP of the Battle of the Island and Northwest Christmas Tournament.
Arosco "Tre" Dubois III is a 6'2" Guard from Evans High School out of Orlando, FL. Dubois III averaged 20.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game this season. He played a large role in the Trojans' 27-7 record and 6A championship game appearance. Dubois III was named a Source Hoops Class 6A First Team All-State Selection, FACA District 11 – 6A Player of the Year, and to the Orlando Sentinel All-Area Team.
Alex Pierre-Louis is a 6'4" Guard from Coral Springs High School in Coral Springs, FL. Pierre-Louis averaged 22.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg, leading the Coral Springs Colts to an 18-10 record. Pierre-Louis' high motor offense and scoring ability achieved Source Hoops Class 6A First-Team All-State as well as All Broward County First Team Selections. Pierre-Louis was also named a Broward County Scholar Athlete.
Jermichael Johnson is a 6'3" Guard from Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida. Johnson averaged 12.9ppg and 5.8rpg this season for the Blue Darters. Johnson and his team went 21-8 this past season including a 7A Region Finals appearance. Johnson was named Bartow Showcase MVP, Florida Get Down New Year's Showcase All-Tournament Team, and to the Orlando Sentinel All Area Team.
Cornelius White is a 6'7" forward from Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida. This season, White averaged 15.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while the Hurricanes went 21-8. White, a local prospect, was named Gainesville Sun Big School Player of the Year, MainStreet Daily News 1st Team All Area 2024-2025, FACA District 7 – 5A Player of the Year, and Source Hoops Class 5A Third Team All-State Selection.

Early on, my staff and I set out to identify high quality people who are very talented, have been well coached, and come from winning programs; and I believe we've done that." Ritzdorf adds. "All of these guys have been coached well and come from outstanding high school programs in the state of Florida. I can't wait to get to work with this year's team!"
