Santa Fe takes the second game from HCC this season

Santa Fe (18-7) takes down Hillsborough (11-14) by a score of 85-54 in Gainesville on Wednesday night.
Santa Fe controlled the game right from the tip, hitting a pair of threes and forcing Hillsborough to take an early timeout. A dominant defensive game from Santa fe limited the Hawks to just 27 poits in each half, taking a 43-27 advantage after 20 minutes. In the first half, Santa Fe cashed in on 9 threes; more than they had the entire game in their win vs Polk State the last time they were in the SF Gymnasium.
A 42 point second half saw another strong offensive display en rout to their 85-54 win. This win marks their second of the season vs Hillsborough and earns a season sweep of the Hawks.
Guy Twitty (career high) and Moses Horne each led the Saints with 20 points a piece. Tre Dubois added 16 while Palmer Walton and Cornelius White each added 10 putting five Saints in double figures for the night.
Santa Fe hits the road to take on Miami Dade this Saturday, February 21st at 4:00pm. They return home on Monday, March 2nd at 7:00pm vs St. Petersburg in the final game of the regular season.
