Brooke Markiewicz has officially signed to continue her academic and playing career at North Carolina Wesleyan University. The sophomore utility player for the Saints is from Seminole, Florida and spent one year at Hillsborough Community College before transferring to Santa Fe.

Markiewicz appeared in 59 games for the Saints in 2025, batting .266 with 49 hits (11 for extra bases) and 36 RBIs. Markiewicz was a true utility player this season, playing games in the outfield, infield, and behind the plate. Markiewicz best game this season was vs. her former school where she went 3-3 with an RBI and a walk, reaching base in all four plate appearances.

Markiewicz will be headed to a Battling Bishops team who went 29-16 this past season, including a runner-up finish in the USA South Conference Tournament.
