Santa Fe Softball checks in at #4 in the nation in this week's NJCAA DI Softball Rankings from the national office. The historical season continues as this week marks a new highest ever ranking since 2008 when the Saints entered the NJCAA DI Fastpitch World Series as the #1 seed.
The Saints capped off a 2-0 week with a bye this past weekend after they swept St. Petersburg College (17-1 & 10-1) last Tuesday. The Saints will host Daytona State College at 2:00 and 4:00pm on Thursday, April 9th for a doubleheader before finishing the weekend in Fort Pierce, Florida as they take on Indian River who sits at #9 in this weeks poll.
Santa Fe rises two slots to #14 in the nation with a 2.23 team ERA. The Saints have continuously showed their power all season and sit at T-4th in the country with 55 home runs in just 37 games. Additionally, Santa Fe has been ranked in 23 the last 28 NJCAA Softball Division I Rankings.
