Bender, Mancillas named NJCAA All-Americans
Molly Bender and Belle Mancillas become Santa Fe Softball's 12th and 13th NJCAA Softball All-Americans

Two Saints were named NJCAA DI Softball All-Americans for the first since 2013. The pair bring the list up to 13 total NJCAA Softball All-Americans from Santa Fe, as they are the first to make the list since 2013 when Karla Claudio was named a First Team All-American.
Molly Bender adds this honor to her long list of awards and accolades this season, being named NFCA Second Team All-American, NFCA Second Team All-South Region, First Team All-FCSAA, FCSAA All-Tournament Team, First Team All-Citrus Conference North, and Citrus Conference North Player of the Year. She lked the Saints in plenty of categories this season, carrying a slash line of .383/.512/.724 at the plate. She led the team in doubles, hit by pitches, and stolen bases while fielding .991.
Belle Mancillas logged the most innings of any other Saints pitcher to enter the circle this season, throwing 197.1 innings while keeping an ERA of 1.56 in a powerful Citrus Conference. She struck out 172 batters (6.10K/7) and has the 5th most appearances all time of any Santa Fe pitcher while keeping a .213 batting average against.
