The Saints have now had three National Player of the Week awards in the last two seasons, with Aleisha Curry winning it twice in 2021-2022.
Brown, the sophomore guard from Putnam Hall, Fla., had 28 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals in the Saints' 75-71 victory at Hillsborough on Nov. 22. Her 28 points included three of the final four points from the free-throw line in the final seconds to separate from the Hawks.
Brown has eclipsed 20 points in five of her season's nine outings, including a 32-point effort against Tallahassee on Nov. 5. She is pacing the Saints with season averages of 21.0 points per game, 4.7 assists per game, and 3.2 steals per game. She also has grabbed 6.3 rebounds per game to help the Saints hold a rebounding margin of nearly +21.
The national award is the first for Brown, who has built upon her freshman campaign in 2021-2022 when she was named to the Central Conference First Team.
