Hillsborough Community College ran away from SF knocking the Saints off 69-45. The Saints had a slow start to the first quarter but ended on a run to cut the deficit to 15-10. A low scoring second quarter kept the score 26-17 as the game took a turn for the second half. Hillsborough kept building their lead throughout the third quarter but dominated the fourth quarter knocking the Saints off.
The Saints had two players in double figures with Yanija Lawson and Aniyah Anderson. Anderson finished with 15 points on the night. Lawson finished with eleven points, all in the first three quarters.
Santa Fe is back in action Saturday at Miami Dade for a 2:00 PM tip-off.
