Saints Fall in First Round of FCSAA Tournament; Play Again on Saturday
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints fell in the first round of the FCSAA State Tournament to MFC rivals the College of Central Florida 3-1, despite battling through four tough games. The Patriots took the first game 25-17 but from there each game was 25-23. CF taking game two, the Saints game three, and Central Florida closed it out in the fourth game.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints fell in the first round of the FCSAA State Tournament to MFC rivals the College of Central Florida 3-1, despite battling through four tough games. The Patriots took the first game 25-17 but from there each game was 25-23. CF taking game two, the Saints game three, and Central Florida closed it out in the fourth game.
Nadine Williams led Santa Fe with 19 kills, Kaylin Powell had 12, Amber Hendry nine, and Jane Early had nine blocks, and Amber Hendry had 6 blocks.
The Saints are still alive for a NJCAA Tournament bid and will battle Indian River State College at 1:00 PM CST.
The winner of that match will stay alive for third place finish and a shot at the national tournament.
