Santa Fe Volleyball (2-1) traveled to St. Petersburg, FL to take on the Titans (0-1) in their home opener. The Saints lost 3-1, falling to a 2-2 record on the 2025 season.
The Titans were in control the first set, winning 25-13. The Saints responded by taking a 12-4 lead in the second set. Three service aces by Sophie Thompson extended the lead to 18-7. The Saints ended the second set with a kill by Emily Geaquinto, an ace by Ife Talabi, and a kill by Linnea Preston to win 25-13.
The Titans pulled away in the third set, winning 25-14. The Saints refused to give up in the fourth set, but the Titans won 25-17.
The Saints have a quick turnaround as they will host Pasco-Hernando State College and Enterprise State Community College at 11:30am and 4:30pm on Friday, August 29th.
