After two seasons playing volleyball for Santa Fe, Mariana Haas will be heading to the University of Tennessee at Martin to continue her athletic and academic career. Haas is from Nova Petrópolis, Brazil, and a graduate of Escola Técnica Bom Pastor. She intends to pursue International Business as her major.

Haas earned a role as a full-time starter in her freshman year with Santa Fe as an outside hitter. In her time with the Saints, Haas accumulated 443 kills and 509.5 points. On the defensive side, Haas posted 283 digs and has 39 total blocks, 10 of them solo blocks. Haas posted a career-high 20 kills in a game against Hillsborough Community College on October 21, 2024, helping the Saints to a 3-2 win.

In both years at Santa Fe, Haas was recognized for several academic honors. In her freshman season, she was awarded as an NJCAA All-Academic and an FCSAA Academic All-State honoree. She further earned All-Saints Academic Team Honors in each semester of attendance, proving her excellence in the classroom.

Joining UT Martin, Haas will have an immediate opportunity to earn a role with her leadership and experience. Under experienced head coach Jaclynn Wilson, she has a great opportunity to make her presence known immediately on the court.
