Nathalia Vasquez has officially signed to continue her career at Baptist University of Florida after spending the last two years at Santa Fe. The Caracas, Venezuela native is a Setter/Defensive Specialist and attended Pinecrest Prep Academy Charter High School before making the jump to Santa Fe. 

Vasquez played in 10 matches totaling 17 sets, hitting .167 with four kills and a pair of assists in 2025. She accumulated 18 digs and added a block, showing that she can be effective on either the offensive or defensive side of the court. 

She was named 2025 Fall and 2026 Spring All-Saints Academic as well as 2025/26 FCSAA Academic All-State. She intends to major in accounting and played prep for Miami Select Volleyball Academy.

Vasquez will head to a BUF program who will be playing in their second competitive season. The Lady Eagles held a 12-17 record in their first year of the program, including a postseason trip as the #3 seed in their regional tournament. Vasquez will be bringing veteran experience to a newer program that has shown that they can be competitive against anybody in their region as they aim for their second straight postseason appearance in 2026.
