Tough Third Quarter Dooms Saints
The Titans outscored the Saints 24-11 in the third quarter to secure victory

Santa Fe (6-14, 2-10) traveled to the Eastern Florida State College Titans (10-15, 5-8) on Wednesday, February 11th, and the Titans stood tall with a 75-55 victory over the Saints.
A pair of free throws by Lorianys Castanon Cruz and a fastbreak layup by Aniyah Anderson gave the Saints a 4-0 lead to start the game, and Castanon Cruz drilled a three to give the Saints a 9-4 lead. The Titans took their first lead 14-13 right before the end of the first quarter.
The Titans used second chance opportunities to extend their lead to 20-14 in the second quarter. Santa Fe's first field goal of the second quarter came at the 3:08 mark with a layup by Zion McRae, cutting the Saints' deficit to 22-20. The Titans made a three at the buzzer to take a 32-27 halftime lead.
The Titans took a 15 point lead midway through the third quarter, and they outscored the Saints 24-11 in the quarter to take a 56-37 lead heading into the fourth. The Titans held on in the fourth to secure a 75-55 victory.
Aniyah Anderson led the Saints with 21 points. Zion McRae followed with 16 points, and Lorianys Castanon Cruz had 10 points.
The Saints will return home on Saturday, February 14th to face Daytona State at 2:00pm.
