Saints Season Recap: Softball
Take a look back at the 2025 Saints Softball Season!
Gainesville, FL
The Santa Fe Softball capped off another impressive season with a strong 37–23 overall record—their most successful campaign since 2013. After weathering a rocky start, the Saints caught fire, stringing together a 10-game win streak and sweeping conference rivals like Hillsborough and Central Florida en route to their 4th postseason appearance in 5 years.
In her 4th year as head coach, Savanah Webster led the Saints to their fourth straight 30+ win season while secured a spot in the FCSAA D1 Softball Tournament. After dropping the opening game 2-1 to Seminole State, Webster had her team ready for their win-or-go-home matchups that began with gritty victories over Gulf Coast State (5-2), Eastern Florida (6–2) and nationally ranked Northwest Florida State (9–4), earning them a spot in the Bracket B championship game of the FCSAA Division I tournament.
Though they ultimately fell to Chipola College 5–1 and one game short of the program's third NJCAA World Series, the Saints finished as runner‑up in the FCSAA D1 Softball Championship. This marked Santa Fe's deepest postseason run in over a decade and their best total performance since the 2013 season, certainly something to be proud of.
