Five from Women's Basketball Receive Postseason Central Conference Awards
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Santa Fe College women's basketball had five players receive All-Central Conference honors, as voted on by the coaches and announced Friday afternoon.
Malea Brown and Se'Lah Reddick were each members of the First Team, while Joey Delancy, Triniti Youngblood, and Isabella Reynolds received Second Team recognition.
L'or Eyeba Mputu of Eastern Florida was selected as the Player of the Year, while MJ Baker, also of Eastern Florida, was named the Coach of the Year. The Titans took home the Central Conference crown for a second consecutive season, and will be the Saints' matchup in the upcoming FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Tournament on Wednesday, March 8 at 6:00 p.m. (CST) in Niceville, Fla.

- Recording three double-doubles, including a game against Tallahassee on Nov. 15 in which she snagged a career-high 13 rebounds.
- Coming one assist shy of a triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists on Nov. 29.
- Swiping 3.5 steals per game to lead the FCSAA and rank No. 11 in the NJCAA in total steals (90).

- Had a season-high 19 points in a 76-60 win over Tallahassee on Nov. 15.

- Was a consistent presence in the rebounding category, grabbing 6.8 rebounds per game and a season-high 13 on Jan. 25 in a 59-54 win over FSCJ.

- A sophomore guard from Coral Springs, Fla. and Archbishop McCarthy High School.
- Appeared in 18 games, starting in 17.
- Contributed 8.9 points per game while converting on 1.3 three-pointers per contest.
- Shot nearly 84 percent from the free-throw line (31-37).
- Scored double-digit points in nine games for the Saints.
- Had a career-high 21 points against No. 6 Eastern Florida on Jan. 11, going 5-of-9 from beyond the arc.
- Averaged 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per game on the defensive end.
